If there are specific members of the press you would like to notify, please let us know. If you have your own publicist, please have them contact Shelley to introduce themselves as soon as possible.

We encourage you to let us know of any areas of special interests (i.e. food, cycling, China, spirituality, local personalities, music, etc.) as well as related writers/reviewers/bloggers/organizations/affiliations that would provide a niche marketing opportunity in relation to your particular film.

All digital marketing materials – film stills, director headshot & bio, trailers – are to be submitted via your own cloud hosting service, such as Dropbox or Hightail and shared with [email protected] and [email protected]

Specifications for these elements are outlined below.

FILM STILLS  (3-5 IMAGES)

Please provide a minimum of 3 different high resolution images/stills from the film in both horizontal and vertical formats – At least one MUST be in horizontal format. If there is one image that you prefer to be used as your key image, please label it accordingly.

Please include a text file noting photo credit and annotations for all included stills, as appropriate.

Submit images via Dropbox or other file sharing platform.

NOTE: These images will be used in our print publications, website, on-screen in theaters, used by our marketing & creative teas m in the promotion of your film as well as shared with press – it is essential that have proper clearance/permissions for the materials that are sent and that they are the highest quality available so that we can properly represent your film across the various platforms.

DIRECTOR BIO

Word document; 100 words max. each

DIRECTOR PHOTO  (1 per director)

Highest resolution available

Please include a text file noting photo credit, as appropriate.

These images will be used on our website as well as used by our publicity team in the promotion of your film. Additional images of directors “in action” on the set are also encouraged.

TRAILER – TECH SPECS

Please provide a high resolution trailer file for your film for possible inclusion in the DocLands 2024 trailer in one of the following formats:

.mov  (Apple QuickTime; qualty H.264 to ProRes)
.mp4  (Mpeg-4 video file; qualty H.264 and higher)

Please also provide a link to your trailer hosted on YouTube or Vimeo for use on the DocLands website.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that your privacy settings allow for embedding on doclands.com – your trailer can  be set as private or unlisted so that viewing otherwise is restricted, but we will need this access for proper display on the website.

Password protected advance screening links will be made available to select members of the media covering DocLands – please email to [email protected]

EPK | PRESS NOTES

Word or PDF document

Electronic press notes are needed to help publicize your film. At a minimum, they should include a synopsis, production notes, cast and crew credits and a director bio.

POSTERS & POSTCARDS

Posters and postcards are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for on-site promotion of your film.

Please provide 2 – 4 posters for display at our theatrical venues. Standard one-sheet size (27″ x 41″) is preferable, though we can accommodate smaller dimensions.

If available, please supply a stack of postcards to be displayed in the lobby of each theater and hospitality lounges (100 max).
